Caption: Tim and Chris Laddish held the traditional thanksgiving feast at their home in Sheep Ranch, California. The food and pies were superb, and we all enjoyed our time together. The new "west wing" house was now open with beds, lights, and a working bathroom. Excellent! Thanks, Tim and Chris, for an excellent time.

Location: Sheep Ranch is a 'free range' town located in Calveras County, California. The town was once surrounded by sheep corrals, until gold was discovered in 1860. During the gold rush, there were 5 gold mines and 15 saloons. Many scenes from the 1982 movie Honkeytonk Man were filmed here. Today the population is <100 people and sheep well outnumber humans.
