Greetings! This web site documents my 7 week trip from Nov 23rd
through Jan 10th visiting Japan, China, and Thailand.
I hit Japan at a perfect time. The weather was cool, but the Japanese maples
were beautiful. The day I left was the start of a rainstorm and cold front.
Tokyo was enormous, a huge metropolis; Hakone and Mt. Fuji beautiful; Kyoto
was my favorite with temples, meditation, sushi, and tea ceremonies; while
Kobe found new friends from work, Kobe beef, and a visit to Arima Onsen.
